Hey y’all! Welcome to Grace for this MOMent!

Do you hate the question of “Who are you and where are you from?”

Because I do! It’s such a broad question. There is no easy answer for me. I have many titles and have “been from” many places. I am here to share my heart of being a Momma and seeing God’s grace in the day-to-day moments. So let me start by trying to answer “Who are you and where are you from?”

Who Am I?

My name is Morgan and I am first and foremost a follower of Christ. He is my sole purpose and desire and I am so thankful for the gift of salvation which I received at a young age. I am also a daughter, sister, wife, Momma, and third culture kid. I would say I am from a little town in the foothills of North Carolina but that wouldn’t truly give you a glimpse into where I grew up.

I grew up in Kenya, Russia and Turkey from the age of 3 until I graduated high school at 18. I then moved back to the U.S. to attend college and that’s where I met my amazing husband, Hunter.

We now live in the mountains of North Carolina and have 2 adorable children. Blake, our oldest, is almost 2  and Raelynn is 5 months old. We love where we live and enjoy spending time together as a family. Hunter, my husband is the youth pastor at our church and I come along side him in that ministry.

Purpose of this Blog

I have contemplated for a long time about starting a blog but have never taken the leap of faith. Here, I am taking that leap of faith. My purpose for this blog is to share about seeing God’s grace in the Mom moments or as I call them “Mom”ents. I want to encourage others to see God in the day-to-day aspects of motherhood. I also want to help other moms out with suggestion, tips and lessons learned. Being a mom is tough enough so it is my heart to be a source of help to other mommas out there.

To help you out I will have a variety of posts that may be tips on raising little ones (like this one), funny anecdotes about the kiddos, others might be a lesson God is teaching me (like this one) or even suggestions on how to juggle everything life throws at you.

This is Us!

So, that is me, my life and background in a nutshell. I hope you will enjoy this journey with me and it is my prayer that God uses my vulnerability in sharing my life to bless and impact at least one person.

Thanks for joining me on this messy, fun, crazy and wonderful life! Go check out the blog and leave me a comment below to introduce yourself and ask any questions.

Much love,
